About Me
I started down my spiritual journey when I was having unexplained medical issues. Along with traditional medical approaches, I found a spiritual advisor who helped me heal through energy work and holistic medicine. This ultimately led me down a path to better health. I took a transcendental meditation class and later became certified in Reiki 1, and then Reiki 2. The more I learned, the more I realized the benefits that came from holistic alignment of my Mind, Body and Spirit. I am now a Reiki Master, which has allowed me to better see my path, while guiding others on theirs.
As a Reiki Master, and through the practice of Energy Healing, my goal is to help those who need guidance finding their balance. This is done in a safe environment, by a trauma informed and understanding practitioner. I welcome clients of every race, gender, sex, background and life experience.
I have attended over 136 hours of different types of trauma informed training. This has allowed me to specialize in working with survivors of abuse, including mental, physical and sexual abuse. For more than 15 years I have worked with, and around, survivors of violent crimes. Over the last 5 years my focus has been more specialized to the area of survivors of child sexual abuse, human trafficking, domestic violence and sexual assault. I have worked with both adults and children that have been affected in these areas.
Working within the Trauma Informed Model, means an open dialogue is kept between us throughout the session. This helps to prevent you from being caught off guard, allowing for a safe and comfortable experience. Together we will work within your limits, allowing you to dictate your own healing in a manner that seeks to empower you, not re-traumatize you. Through Reiki, you will be provided a gentle healing environment where deep seated emotions can be released.
It is said, ”a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” I would be honored to take that journey with you, step by step, towards alignment of your Mind, Body and Spirit.
